Updates and News

April 12, 2022 by Rachael Younger

Well, life is sometimes crazy, isn't that true? In December 2020, we purchased land with the intention to build on it. In January 2021, Hubby/ The Professor got a nasty case of contact dermatitis from poison ivy. In May 2021, we started working on a house plan with a draftsman. That was exciting! Adjusting this, changing that. Thinking about what we really wanted in … [Read more...] about Updates and News

All the news for Younger and Son! Finishing off 2020... 2020 was rough for a lot of folks. It was a year that challenged what we consider important, it pushed us to our social isolation limits. Week in Review

Another week! This week I filed our business personal property tax rendition (first time – yay learning experience!) and our Sales Tax return.  I’m getting the hang of all these filings after nine months.  After going through a cycle of regulatory filings, these parts of business seem more manageable than they did last summer.  That’s […]

Remembering: Memorial Day

O Trinity of love and power! Our brethren’s shield in danger’s hour; From rock and tempest, fire and foe, Protect them wheresoe’er they go; Thus evermore shall rise to Thee Glad hymns of praise from land and sea.*

Ai Mosaic, Pt. 4 – Color Palette

The Color Palette Colors are a big deal when creating a mosaic, especially if you want to keep the costs reasonable.  In this post, I’ll tell you about how we took the image that Rachael had created thus far, and then edited it to make sure it was something we could realistically afford to build.
