We’ve talked a bit about why we started this business and that one reason was that we want to involve our kids in this business.

Involving Kids in Business

Years ago, Little Man learned to count helping to count out parts for orders. We started with counting to 10, then 20… and oh, look 2 sets of 10 make 20! (I looked and looked and couldn’t find a picture of this. Bummer!) He would help with parting out sets. Need a natural way to talk about same/different or colors? Try sorting LEGOs. He still helps count for orders (and he is a wizz at figuring out how many groups of 5 you need to get the right number for the order).

there is always the issue of finding the right piece. Once you know the system, its pretty easy, though.

 

Mr Wigglesworth helps in other ways. He loves to pack orders and put them out for the postal carrier.

There was a time when he just wanted to pull parts for orders….
This is much like ‘putting things away’ and this child loves to put things away.
This was the selection mailed today. These lucky folks got to have their package put out for the postal carrier by the cutest member of our family!
Thou shalt not interfere with the package putting out, or you will suffer the wrath of Mr Wigglesworth!
