Goals. To Share or Not to Share?

February 15, 2020 by Rachael Younger Leave a Comment

That is the question! As you can see, I decided to share my goals this year. Bring it on! For the first time in 7 years, I’ve made goals for the year. Honestly, I love writing goals and creating these big pictures of what my ideal is. And, in the past, I’ve been quite ambitious! Some years, I’d rock those goals, and some years I’d crash and burn at some point in the … [Read more...] about Goals. To Share or Not to Share?

stack of plastic bags of LEGO elements

This last week I had to make a quick trip to my grandfather's funeral. Its always sad to say good-bye to a loved one, but its always good to see the rest of the family. Funerals and death is like that, a mixed bag. Family News While there, my 2nd cousin (or somesuch) told me about how her dad, at the rehab center where he is at, has "LEGO therapy". She said they have … [Read more...] about LEGO Therapy

Dreaming Big

bins of organized LEGO

We have found it is good to dream at times. In fact, I've read that its good for everyone to consider where they want to be in a year, or 5 years. Of course, there is a time to dream big and a time to make it do-able and practical. Today, I'm talking "Dream Big". Inspiration Most often, the vision for the Dream Big is seeing what others have done. Its good to have those … [Read more...] about Dreaming Big

Support Adoption & The Hope Gala with Nightlight Christian Adoption Agency

A week or two ago, Nightlight Christian Adoption Agency organized The Hope Gala here in town to raise funds for and support adoption. For the severalth-year-in-a-row, we hosted a table, and this year we were able to fill our table! This hasn't been true every year.... and this year it was a last minute endeavor to find a couple for the last 2 seats. There are so many … [Read more...] about Adoption & Hope Galas

A Weekly Review

Well, I haven’t written in a while, but here I am with this week’s Weekly Review! It’s been a busy week, like “normal”. Early in the week, I found that my limit for chaos was hit in relation to this little bookcase. Yes, I know that after picture is nearly as chaotic, but you’ll notice […]

Spring Break!

Spring Break! Spring break means a week off from teaching classes.  In the interest of a balanced life – rest and play in moderate proportion with productive labor – I plan to take the day off today.  That includes writing this blog and parting LEGO® sets as well. I hope you and yours find a […]

Christmas Doings

The year is wrapping up. All outside education duties have been fulfilled for 2018.  We are getting our last few days of ‘school’ in here at home. All the Christmas gifts have been purchased, though they still need wrapping. Though I put it off, our tree is finally up and we even have some outside […]
