We are not party-people. Last night, Little Man and the Professor watched some neighborhood fireworks. After both boys were asleep, we watched some “Yes, Minister”. This is a 1980s BBC comedy and it is so very, very funny. From the first episode: “Why not have open government?” “Are you serious? You are either open, or you have government, you can’t have both! If you don’t tell the public what you are doing, they don’t know when you are doing something wrong.” And we were in bed before 11. Yep, party hard.
Today, the first day of 2019, was a bit chilly. The park was too windy and cold, so we retreated to a local Chick-Fil-A. The coffee was okay and the conversation was great. And the kids played well! As a blogger, you’d think I’d know to get pictures of everything we do so I’ve always got a picture to go with the story… alas, I’ve not learned that lesson yet. But I can share this…

The Christmas chocolates are still going, which improves every activity that you eat a chocolate during.

The very end of 2018, Monday, we mailed out 8 LEGO packages. Tomorrow, its looking like 7 packages will go out. My Father-in-law helped us put in a new and bigger mailbox, but it hasn’t been big enough for these couple of days. Sorry, sweet mail-carrier, we tried.
How did you ring in the new year?
