Wednesday arrived before we realized that we missed our normal posting schedule on Monday. That indicates of the sort of week we had.
Speaking of Adoption
On Monday, we talked about our experiences as an embryo adoptive family. My university periodically offers informational sessions relating to the adoption benefits they now offer. Our adoption agency was one of two presenting in that time and we got the opportunity to share our experience. Snugglebug and Little Man both participated as well. Alas, due to the rigors of keeping track of Snugglebug, we couldn’t get any pictures.
Not Everything is Exciting.
This week, I worked on parting out those Batcave sets mentioned last week. It looks like I’ll be working on them for a while still! At over 2500 elements in the set, it takes up a ton of space. I’ve gotten a little over a third of it listed and put away thus far, but the parts will force us to expand our storage. Note to self: buy stock in the makers of plastic storage bins.

Along with needing more storage containers, I ordered these, which arrived today:
Since we bag every part separately and have over 5,200 parts in the store, we use a lot of bags! While we mostly use quart and gallon bags for storage, some large parts orders ship in them too.
We also received a new batch of business cards this last week. Nice to see that we’re working our way through them, because that means we keep shipping orders!
Every now and then I find myself needing to remember that not everything in life is exciting, contrary to what I see on Instagram or Facebook. What about you?
