Spring Break!
For years, spring break was a welcome opportunity to catch up on sleep and maybe enjoy an adventure. This year, adventure meant a trip up to Wisconsin to spend time with family. Snugglebug hadn’t flown previously and he did a marvelous job. We had good timing and enjoyed a significant snowfall (~6 inches). Little Man got to play in the snow while I got to shovel.

Back to Business
When we returned, I was anxious to reopen the stores. We did do some business while gone, but we are invisible to searches while we keep the store closed. BrickLink allows customers to use a bypass password (‘icanwait’) to enter the store by acknowledging that we can’t keep our normal shipping timeframe. We found it encouraging that people do want to order from us specifically enough to wait a few extra days!
Since getting back, I’ve worked on parting out as much as possible. I completed parting out the Super Hero High School and also listed the parts from five copies of the old LEGO® Pirates Chess Set. This set goes in the BrickLink catalogue as “gear” rather than as a set, but it works much the same. Since the LEGO® Group retired the set a few years ago, it had some items I was very glad to add to inventory.
The chess set includes a fair number of tan bricks which had previously sold out. We also added lots of tiles in black and white, but the minifigure parts excite me most. If we list them all as complete minifigures, then we must list them as the directions show them built. The way I listed them, you can purchase whatever pieces you want to make your own pirate! Legs, torso, head, and hair or bandana mixed the way you want them!

We have many more options in minifigure parts already – come on over to see them!
