Phew, I haven’t posted an update in a while!
Taxes again?
Since the last update, we’ve filed the Federal Income tax return. Also, tonight I filed the Franchise Tax Report. On Monday, I’ll attend a workshop the county puts on to make sure I get our Business Personal Property rendition correct. Regulatory compliance takes time, but by learning it now, I’ll have the knowledge to teach it to the boys in another year or two. Hopefully it will get easier with practice!
Sets parted out:
The main portion of LEGO® elements added to the inventory came from our haul last Black Friday. Close to 10,000 parts in blue! There were lots of basic bricks in there. In large quantities, these parts become a mainstay of our sales. This morning we already shipped out the majority of the 2×4 bricks in blue, though we still have lots of them in Medium Azure and blue parts in other sizes besides 2×4.
We parted out 5 copies of 75172 – a Y-Wing from the Star Wars universe. The love people have for the cute astromech droids always astonishes me. Stormtroopers are great too!
In more Star Wars related news, I also began parting out 10 copies of set 75200 – Ahch-To Island training. Rey and Luke, along with an adorable Porg have been added. A few of the large round plates in green will appear soon. A tough act to follow, but look for lots of Stormtroopers and Jawas to appear next week.
