The last couple weeks have been crazy! But now we can settle things down for a little bit and start enjoying summer. Somehow, in the midst of embryo transfer travel, we haven’t missed a beat with respect to business.
Lots of LEGO® sets.
In these last two weeks, I parted out four more sets into our inventory. First, I parted out 10 copies of the Royal Talon Attack Fighter from the Black Panther movie (76100). It’s hard to go wrong with Superheroes and you can’t get enough black elements either. I followed that up with 10 copies of the Superman and Krypto Team Up (76096). This set is much more whimsical, partnering Superman with a super dog to fight against Lobo. Superheroes run the gamut from edgy to funny and these hit both ends of the spectrum. Both of these sets have smaller part counts, meaning they take a lot less time to work through than some of the bigger part outs. It was a real morale boost in the middle of being so busy to get some sets added to inventory.
In further preparation for the summer, I wanted to clean out some of the items that have been sitting around the longest. Next I parted out three copies of set 41094 – Heartlake Lighthouse. In the last few weeks, we sold out of rowboats. This set provided some new ones, this time in pink instead of blue. In fact, lots of parts in pink in this set. I only had three copies, which came on clearance after Christmas 2017, but it was worth parting out only three copies to keep momentum.

Christmas in June?
The last part out I completed this morning – 5 Star Wars Advent Calendars from 2017 (75184). The advent calendars have an extra layer of complication in that the set consists of 24 little sets. Most of them are kept together, because little Star Wars builds make great party favors. This year, I thought to cut out the flaps with instructions for these from the calendar front, so if you order mini builds from the 2017 Star Wars Advent Calendar, we can ship that picture to help you build it too. Not all are noticeably Star Wars builds though – check out this beautiful snow blower! Now that the temperatures outside are hitting 100 degrees (F) on a regular basis, the snow blower fills me with hope for cold days to come in the future!
