We parted out a lot of sets this last week from the post-Christmas sales. Here’s what we parted out and added to the inventory:
41596 – Brickheadz Beast (6 copies) & 41586 – Brickheadz Batgirl (7 copies)
These two are small sets which we found clearance priced. We decided to give them a go. The best part of this set was that each includes 14 of a brick 1x2x2 with 4 studs on one side. These make the foundation of a Brickheadz figure – they also work well for any SNOT (Studs Not On Top) designs. We had been sold out, but now we have lots. At least for a while!
76069 – Batman vs Killer Moth (22 copies)
LEGO® Batman is a popular minifigure. We couldn’t miss the chance to get quite a few of them into our inventory. Mighty Micros figures come with short legs on them though – not the ones with a joint that come on most LEGO® minifigures. There’s also a low supply of essential Batman parts (like the mask and cape) so we decided to list a few of the figures, but to also break some of the figures into their parts for the inventory. If you’re looking for a Batman cape or mask for a minifigure, we have them for the moment at least.
41230 – Batgirl Batjet Chase (18 copies)
I wasn’t really familiar with the DC Superheroes Girls line of LEGO® sets until this Christmas season. These sets include minifigures made in the same “mini doll” style of the Elves and Friends lines. The color palette also includes more pinks and pastel types of colors. This set also includes a string net. LEGO® string elements are not terribly common and we’re always glad when we get to list more.
41231 – Harley Quinn to the Rescue (16 copies)
Another DC Superheroes Girls set, this one obviously stars Harley Quinn. Again, it includes a string net to capture enemies in. The figures come with some special decorated tiles, including a pizza to share and “BAM!” and “POW!” decorated tiles, harkening back to the old cartoon shows. The set also includes some tiny little things called “Kryptomites” that feature a decorated tile face and a lot of transparent light green cheese slopes (1x1x2/3 slopes).
