Another Week, Another Tax.
This week I started working on our Franchise Tax Report. Not my favorite thing, but at least this one is easy. Since we have less than $1,100,000 in revenue, we simply file a “No Tax Due Report”. But we do have to file! I find the process a bit awkward however, because the online filing must happen in one session. Your session terminates after 30 minutes of inactivity. And since I have to look information up from our other paperwork, that session termination makes this awkward. Maybe in a few years I can have one of the boys fill the form out.
New LEGO® Elements.
This week I parted out five copies of a set from the LEGO Batman Movie – the Catwoman Catcycle Chase (70902). We’d actually parted out several copies of this set previously. But this time, I got a great deal on them in the after Christmas clearance frenzy. Instead of listing the minifigures whole (we still have a couple), this time I listed the figures as pieces. The includes two different capes – a little something special for those making their own figures.

I’ve also been working on 12 copies of set #41232 – Super Hero High School. The set has a lot of parts – over 700, so doing 12 copies takes some time. As of now, I’ve listed most of the bulky parts, which include several different panels and “cylinders” – quarter circle or half circle parts five times taller than a brick. In white, this part can form the fuselage of a rocket and in blue, it makes a great curved ice wall.

A last part I love is this:

BrickLink calls it a hose, but it functions as a technic axle and can bend. It adds some … ahem … flexibility to a LEGO® build.
